Prep sports host Tim Donelli talks with four-time North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association state champion and Providence Day head football coach Chad Grier, and national college recruit and quarterback Jadyn Davis who has transferred to Providence Day to play for the Chargers this season. Davis is currently ranked as one of the Top 50 players in the country by ESPN and currently sports offers from Alabama, Clemson, Fl. State, Georgia, and Michigan.
Coach Grier won the NCISAA state football championship last fall in only his second season at the helm of Providence Day, plus three previous state championships at Davidson Day. Davis is ranked by various outlets as the 15th ranked overall player in the nation for the class of 2024, including the 3rd ranked quarterback and 1st overall player in the state of North Carolina.
