Son of former NFL lineman Dominic Raiola, 6-foot-3 Quarterback Dylan Raiola the No.1 overall prospect in the 2024 ESPN Top 300, who committed to Georgia after decommitting from Ohio State in December will be transferring to Buford High in Georgia.
Raiola will join the Buford program alongside fellow five-star prospects safety K.J Bolden(No.15 overall) and defensive end Eddrick Houston(No.30 overall).
Rioala, whom previously transferred from Chandler High to Pinnacle High in Arizona was told by the Arizona Interscholastic Association he could possibly be suspended according to the association policy.
Embed from Getty ImagesAs a junior, Rioala threw for 2,435 yards with 22 touchdowns and five interceptions for chandler high, ESPN reported. Rioala is the first Quarterback in the ESPN Top 300 to sign with Georgia since Justin Fields in 2018.
“After meeting with Pinnacle’s leadership and specifically their head coach, he didn’t have much confidence in Dylan not having to sit any games and Dylan wants to play a full senior season,” Raiola’s father Dominic told sources . “When he committed to Georgia, that allowed us to be closer to where he’s going to spend the next four years of his life and enroll and be free and clear to play the whole season and compete.”
Sources say, Buford High will be Raiola’s fourth high school prior to moving to Arizona, he started one season as a sophomore for Burleson High School in Texas.
