2025 NFL Pro Bowl Rosters

The NFL announced the rosters for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Thursday morning. Players representing 28 of 32 teams were chosen, with the Baltimore Ravens leading the pack with nine selections, the most of any NFL team, followed by the Detroit Lions (7), Minnesota Vikings (6), Philadelphia Eagles (6), Dallas Cowboys (5) and Kansas City Chiefs (5).

Voting by fans, players and coaches each count for 33.3% of the final tally.

Four teams that have no representation in the event are the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, New York Jets and Tennessee Titans. Those teams could still be a part of the festivities and end up with players filling in as alternants.

The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place once again in the ‘Happiest Place on Earth’, Orlando, Florida on February 2, one week before Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, and feature players competing in a skills competition as well as a 7-on-7 flag football game between the AFC and NFC at Camping World Stadium, which will be coached by football royalty Peyton and Eli Manning.

Detroit’s Jared Goff is the NFC’s starting quarterback and Minnesota’s Sam Darnold also made the team. The AFC’s starting quarterback is Buffalo’s Josh Allen. Jackson and Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow are the backups.

Philadelphia’s Saquon Barkley, who became the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards, is the NFC’s starting running back.

San Francisco’s Kyle Juszczyk was selected to his ninth Pro Bowl, the most ever by a fullback. Indianapolis’ Quenton Nelson is the third offensive lineman since 1970 to be selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first seven seasons in the league.

Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase is the fourth wide receiver to be selected in each of his first four seasons. Dallas’ Micah Parsons is the first defensive player chosen in each of his first four seasons since Los Angeles Rams’ Aaron Donald went to 10 straight.

Wide receiver Zay Flowers, safety Kyle Hamilton, cornerback Marlon Humphrey, center Tyler Linderbaum, defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, fullback Patrick Ricard and inside linebacker Roquan Smith are the other Ravens.

Safety Brian Branch, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, center Frank Ragnow, right tackle Penei Sewell, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and punter Jack Fox join Goff from the Lions.

Wide receiver Justin Jefferson, outside linebackers Andrew Van Ginkel and Jonathan Greenard, cornerback Byron Murphy and long-snapper Andrew DePaola are the other Vikings.

Right tackle Lane Johnson, center Cam Jurgens and left guard Landon Dickerson, defensive tackle Jalen Carter and inside linebacker Zack Baun are going from Philadelphia.

Among the notable players snubbed includes Lions safety Kerby Joseph, the NFL interceptions leader with nine. While he finished at the top of the class in fan voting among free safeties, he was not one of the trio who will be part of the Pro Bowl. Joseph’s teammate, Brian Branch, who was second in fan voting at strong safety, made the team.

Joseph posted a GIF on social media Wednesday showing how miffed he was at the decision.

In a somewhat shocking turn of events, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes did not make the final cut on the AFC roster for the first time since he has been a starter in the NFL and has not been selected for the Pro Bowl. On the other side, Baker Mayfield of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not be making the trip to Orlando either.

One rookie missing out will be Brian Thomas Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars, who has absolutely balled out. The wide receiver is fifth in the NFL in receiving yards (1,179) and tied for fifth with 10 touchdowns this season.

While Thomas was left off, 24 other rookies were named to the AFC rosters, including Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and Los Angeles Rams linebacker Jared Verse. Jayden Daniels of the Washington Commanders made the NFC team, making him just the fourth rookie signal caller since the 1970 AFL NFL merger, to make the Pro Bowl roster.

This is the third annual Pro Bowl Games after the NFL did away with its full-contact all-star game and replaced it with weeklong skills competitions and a flag football game.
